What happens to the information you share with RaktKhoj.
RaktKhoj is a demo project built by Sanan Goyal and Gurjot Singh Ahluwalia to explore what a national blood-donor finder could look like — it isn't an official government service. This page explains what we actually do with any personal information you share with us.
Pre-registration data helps us show real, public demand for RaktKhoj to the people and departments who could actually build it — and lets us update you if the project moves forward. Analytics helps us understand how the demo is used so we can improve it. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or any other third party.
Donor profiles, blood bank stock levels, camp attendance numbers, and similar figures shown elsewhere on RaktKhoj are demonstration data used to illustrate how the real product would work — they don't belong to real people.
We keep pre-registration data until the project concludes or you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
You can ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it entirely, at any time — just email us. If the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to your request, you also have the right to complain to India's Data Protection Board.

RaktKhoj is not an official government website. It is an independent prototype/demo project, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of India, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, or any official blood donation programme. For real blood requirements, please contact your nearest hospital or blood bank directly.
